Future Apprentice Bartender Mr Noel Tactay!!

Soon to be an Amazing Apprentice Noel learned to deal with any situation at the bar. Checking ID's, serving customers, dealing with money, doing service bar, well trained with the computer, using the jiggers.
Stocking the bar, cleaning it, rotating the products, doing the orders, managing times, being responsable, speaking differents lenguages and being friendly with everyone.

I know that he learned a lot and this is the best thing to do in the bar career!

For all this I just have to say: Thanks Noel!, thanks for being a good friend, and being quick to learn as an Apprentice.
I also learned that any time I said: "Tulongan mo ako!" he would answer: "No Mas!".

The Worst Competition's System in present times

Latelly we bartenders have been thrue the worst method for competitions, it looks like the tv show American Idol, where the judges are the same, same competitors and off course, same results. This happend in the most recent competitions I have been performing, looks like people say to be IBA, but they fix results as they want.

Other way to compete nowadays is by submitting recipes, online and letting someone who wants to learn from you for free, judge you. Off course they go based on what they want, they never make the drink based on recipe (I bet you), and choose a fake winner as they please.

I will keep on this issue for the underdog bartenders later on.

Cheers,

Ignacio De Notta.
